“How collective actions make the world more sustainable”
Understanding our Mission: Enhancing sustainability through collaboration
People
Real and lasting change happens when individuals and communities, especially students, are given the tools to improve their lives.
The journey begins with education, a critical pillar of empowerment. We aim to share attributes that will better empower us as students and our local community to meet challenges, seize opportunities, and make informed decisions.
This approach is consistent with oursmall steps – big impactapproach, which recognizes that modest actions can lead to significant results.
Planet
Taking care of our environment is not just a choice; it is a necessity. Our goal is to actively contribute to the mission of prioritizing and taking meaningful action to improve our environment.
By encouraging small sustainable steps within our project, such as reducing waste, conserving resources, and making environmentally conscious choices in our daily lives, we believe that as students we can make a big impact in our local community.
Together, we work to ensure that habitats remain strong, diverse plant and animal species continue to thrive, and environmental challenges are addressed.
Prosperity
In our vision, prosperity goes beyond temporary financial gains to encompass lasting, holistic well-being.
We recognize that true prosperity benefits all stakeholders, including communities, individuals, and the environment. Consistent with the principles of connectUS 2024, prosperity is not viewed as a finite commodity, but rather as a shared endeavor.
We take a broad view of prosperity that goes beyond monetary wealth. It encompasses multiple dimensions, including the holistic well-being of society and the robust ecological health of our environment.
