Even though Covid-19 has in no way affected our enthusiasm and commitment to the project, it has unfortunately made our work more difficult. We put a lot of effort and time into monitoring the state of the pandemic, creating a comprehensive risk analysis and drawing up different scenarios. However, the results of our in-depth evaluation as well as the unfavorable developments in the past weeks have now led us to this announcement.

We have made the difficult decision to not travel to Canada next spring and carry out our On-Site Seminar in Switzerland instead. The health and safety of you, our delegation, is our main priority and we feel it is not possible to fully ensure that in the current situation with Covid-19. So, even hough it was done with a heavy heart, we are convinced that this is the right thing to do. Making this decision already now instead of in December gives us enough time to plan ahead and prepare an On-Site Seminar that meets our high expectations regarding content and safety.

Having the On-Site Seminar in Switzerland is a novelty in the history of connectUS. At first, it may seem to restrict our possibilities. At a second glance, however, it opens doors to a lot more opportunities than we would have had when traveling. We are now able to include countries and places again that we had to exclude due to Covid-19. We see this as an excellent chance to explore the potentials of conference calls with organizations abroad, online discussions with external experts as well as virtual company visits and tours.

We are currently working on different options and our contingency plans are revised to form solid back-up plans. Watch this space for any updates on our plans.
