We are looking for next year’s team that is ready to take over from us. Open are all 6 team positions. 4 Project Managers, each responsible for a different role and 2 Communication Managers responsible for the overall representation of the project on social media and to our different audiences. 

These jobs require creative, entrepreneurial and communicative ability and excellent project management skills. The professional planning, organizing, managing of an introductory workshop, the seminar abroad and – a crucial task – raising and managing the necessary funds for the trip or the development of a professional multi-channel communications plan and its implementation across multiple platforms to widely divergent stakeholders

Project Manager

Academically, IM & BOEK students receive 15 ECTS replacing and compensating their project work/live project (5 ECTS), Focus module (5 ECTS) and Integration Module (5 ECTS). IBM students will receive an equivalent, that is to be defined with our supervisor and head of degree program.

You are:

Student of FHNW School of Business enrolled in IM, BOEK, or IBM. Full-time and part-time are both accepted.

You bring or are willing to strongly develop:

  • Willingness to invest more time than is required for a ‘normal’ project and ability to deal with a heavy and irregular workload
  • Strong interest in North America (both business and cultural aspects)
  • Leadership as well as collaborative skills
  • Self-motivation and ambition

  • Commitment to further developing and improving the projects, creativity and innovation
  • Trouble-shooting capability and strong nerves

communication manager

Academically, IM & BOEK students receive 10 ECTS replacing and compensating their Integration Module (5 ECTS) and Business Communication 4 (5 ECTS). IBM, WI and BIT students will receive an equivalent, that is to be defined by our supervisor and head of degree program.

  • Language skills (German and English)
  • Social Media experience or IT skills (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, website coding, Adobe InDesign / Canva)
  • Interest and passion for North America (both business and cultural aspects)
